Keukenhof Gardens: The second largest flower garden in the world, the Keukenhof garden is one of the most popular tourist attractions in the country. Each spring, one can observe a beautiful spectacle when more than seven million bulbs bloom at once. Apart from these flower-filled landscapes, one can also enjoy various flower shows and festivals that occur here every year.

Windmills in Kinderdijk: one of the things unique to the Netherlands is the massive windmills. There are 19 windmills in Kinderdijk that are protected by UNESCO. They were designed in 1740 to drain the Alblasserwaard polders and to prevent flooding. They have been preserved perfectly. They are also opened to the public from April to the end of October so that the machinery can be studied.

Alkmaar cheese market: As popular as cheese is in the Netherlands, you cannot find better cheese than in the Alkmaar cheese market. It helps annually from first Friday of April to the first Friday of September in Waagplein square in Alkmaar. The market feels like the Netherlands out of a history textbook with medieval decor and vendors in costumes. It is a very old tradition that is alive till this date.

The Efteling: Efteling is the oldest theme parks in the world, and also one of the largest, boasting an area almost twice the size of California Disneyland. It has been functional in 1952.and is located in a little town called Kaatsheuvel. It is divided into four realms, each with its different theme. This is a place where everyone can have a lot of fun regardless of their age.
