The Anne Frank House is the house of Anne Frank who wrote her famous diary during World War 2. The Diary of Anne Frank depicts the life of the author and the situations during the war. The Anne Frank House is located on Prinsengracht in Central Amsterdam, Netherlands. The house is more like a museum and is visited by people from all over the world making it the 3rd most visited museum in the Netherlands.

History Of Anne Frank House

The museum was established on the 3rd of May, 1960 by Otto Frank who was the father of Anne Frank and the lone survivor of the death camps of the Nazis. After the war was over, the Jews who were in hiding with the Frank family went to the house to collect the personal belongings and that is where the diary was found and handed over to Otto Frank. The diary was published and after that, the museum was established. The entire process was quite difficult as it needed saving from the people who wanted to demolish it. The museum was finally established and opened to the public.
