While the routes 51, 53, and 54 are managed by the municipal public transport GVB, the station also provides tram, ferry, and bus routes. History Of Amsterdam Centraal Station

Designed by Pierre Cuypers, a Dutch architect who is also known for designing Rijksmuseum in Amsterdam, was the mastermind behind the design of the station. The structural designs and tunnels were made by the engineers. The station was in working mode from 1889. The modification of the structures was done later, and the final structure was viewed in 1997. The station has a glimpse of the Gothic era or Renaissance as it is seen in the Rijksmuseum.
