Board a Metro

Metro is one the quickest means of transports to reach Sacre-Coeur. The closest metro station to Sacre-Coeur is Anvers station. Board line 2 of the metro running between Porte Dauphine and Nation, get down at Anvers station. For those coming from the Paris centre, board a metro from line 12 and running towards Porte de la Chapelle. Get down at Abbesses station. For those coming enrooted Subway metro lines can get down at Pigalle or Jules Joffrin stations and board a Montmartre bus to reach Sacre-Coeur. Whichever station you get down at, one will have to either walk or board a cable car to escalate the hill to reach Sacre-Coeur from the Anvers, located at the hill-base. You can use your metro ticket to board the cable car.

Travel by Bus

Bus is another economical, though time consuming travel option to reach Sacre-Coeur. Bus lines 30, 31, 80 and 85 halt at the Anvers Sacre-Coeur bus stop in Montmartre. One can also board Montmartrobus from Pigalle or Jules Joffrin Subway metro lines and get down at Norvins stop or Place du Tertre stop respectively. From here cable car or walking to SAcre-Coeur is the option.

By car

Book a cab or board a tax from the Hotel de Ville area, Paris and reach Sacre-Coeur in just 7 minutes at a price of 13€ and 7 € respectively. The rent for electric bicycles is twice that of normal ones. It requires 23 minutes to reach Sacre-Coeur by bicycle from the Hotel de Ville area.

Walk your way

One of the best way to reach Sacre-Coeur is on the foot. It requires 48 minutes to reach the place from Hotel de Ville area. Though the time required is more, walking on those boulevards will be a complete delight.
